BIBL 325 Discussion The Gospel Message of Jesus
According to our video presentation on the “The message of the gospel” by Cara and Dr. Andrew that the message of the gospel is good news and it’s not just inviting Jesus into your heart but following Jesus all the way. It is the way of Jesus. Jesus came to offer a particular gospel message which is Matthew, Mark, Luke, John. All four gospels present the life and teachings of Jesus explaining the acts of Jesus and they contain good news about Jesus. Each book focuses on a unique facet of Messiah. My experience while reading the book of Matthew was that Matthew was giving convincing proof that Jesus was the Messianic King whom the Jews were anticipating and whom the world needed so desperately. The gospel links the Old and New Testaments and contains many references that show how Jesus fulfilled Old Testament prophesy.
BIBL 325 Discussion The Kingdom Habits of Jesus
Throughout the Gospels, the student observes that Jesus repeats particular patterns and activities. According to Bible Knowledge Commentary, “one of His habits was that He withdrew himself from the crowd to a remote place in Matthew 14:13.”
To use biblical examples demonstrated by Jesus within the gospel of Matthew on kingdom habits. From our video presentation, Cara and Dr. Andrew mentioned “fasting, rest, prayers, service, studying the word of God, gratitude, and proclaiming the good news and witnessing to kingdom people.”
